5 Fantastic Resources for Orcs in D&D

This is the fifth post in our orc series. Today I am going to share with you some fun stuff that I have found on the web that can help DM's who are using orcs in their adventures. There is a wide variety of stuff in the links below and it is my hope that there's something for everyone. Without further ado, here are the 5 Fantastic Resources for Orcs in D&D. Happy Gaming!

#1 If you are looking for a map of a simple orc raider camp, then click here. There are more maps below the main one, so scroll down to find some other related maps, as well. This resource should help you solve the "where will the encounter happen" problem. #2 If you would like to read an interesting article on Orcish Honor and Customs, then click here. While you are on Stuffer Shack, you should check out their massive library of resources. It's a LOT more than just orcs or D&D.

#3 If you are looking for just the right battle music for your orc fight, then click here. I personally like the track below the best, but all of them are excellent for orc battles.

#4 If you are looking for a huge orc resource covering many aspects of these interesting creatures, then click here. According to the site: "The Orc Roleplaying Community Site is dedicated to the pen & paper and computer roleplaying gamers who have chosen the orc race as their player character. The intent of this site is to be an information archive for all materials relating to roleplaying orcs in any fantasy or science fiction setting." The site may be a bit outdated (it doesn't seem to have been updated since 2008), but much of the information is still good.

#5 Finally, if you are looking for a picture of an orc (or a group of orcs), then look here. My group usually uses "theater of the mind" as our style of play, so having convenient pictures of what the bad guys look like always helps us. My hope is that it will help you as well.

That's it for today. Tomorrow's topic will be 20 Orcish Phrases You Should Learn. See you then.
